Reservations for group shelters are made like picnic shelters. In order to hold the reservation a credit card or cash deposit is required. If paying by cash/check, the reservation will be held for 10 days, then the system automatically drops the reservation if a deposit has not been received. The credit card will be charged for the appropriate amount at the time of the call. A confirmation number will be issued. Reservations may be made for up to one year in advance.

Guests are required to check in at the lodge front desk, where the key will be issued and parking passes sold.

Group Shelter #1 – 100 people (see diagram below)
Group Shelter #2 – 250 people (see diagram below)

Description:
Group Shelter #1 is completely enclosed with central air and heat along with a stone fireplace. It is located on the lake in the Day Use area across from the miniature golf course, near the playgroud and beach. The kitchen is equiped with a 3-compartment sink, a gas stove/oven and industrial refrigerator. Restrooms are inside.

Group Shelter #2 has an outdoor grill, a separate kitchen with sink, gas stove, refrigerator, food warmer and fireplace. The shelter is heated but not air-conditioned. It is located within the park between the Visitor’s Center and the Lodge. Restrooms are within walking distance

Group Shelter #2 - $230.00 per day

Group Shelter #1 – 10:00 a.m. until 9:45 p.m.
Group Shelter #2 – 10:00 a.m. until 9:45 p.m.

Food & Beverage Services:
We recommend Superior Catering at 770-941-9263 or groups may provide their own food. Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee and are located at each shelter for your own set up.

Parking Fee:
Park passes are $3.00 per vehicle and can be purchased at the front desk.

Pets:
Not permitted inside the buildings

Rest Rooms:
Group Shelter #1 has restroom facilities within the shelter. Facilities are within walking distance of Group Shelter #2.

Set up:
Each group handles their own; tables and chairs are located at the shelter

Cancellation:
For a full refund, cancellations are required 30 days prior to arrival. The full amount is forfeited if cancellation is within 30 days.
